So the Strikers had their first soccer game this weekend. And although they don't keep score at this age....we lost. In our defense, we didn't play the first week of games, so our kids were a little confused about it. Everyone survived, there were no injuries, just some hurt feelings over a stolen Capri Sun drink. The jury is still out on whether team sports are Erin's thing. There was an awful lot of "daisy pickin'" out on the field, so we'll see if things improve. She had a good time and we took her out to lunch after the game. Here are some pictures from the game. Erin is #3 and has on grey shorts.

Ahhh she is so cute. She looks like she is hustling for the ball.
Sounds like Willem's first season of soccer. He really liked turning somersaults and playing shadow tag, pretty much everything except kicking the ball! Much improved the next year, though, so don't give up yet!
