Getting behind!

I know it's been a while since I've updated...sorry! I was just reading another friends blog and she said that people ask her what she does with all her free time now that all her kids are in school, and she said she's actually busier than ever. I understand! Now that Erin is at school (and LOVING it) I've finally gotten myself into a regular gym routine, I've gotten over-my-head in PTA projects (why didn't someone warn me....I'm at the school close to 4 hours a day, most days of the week....ugh!!!!) and I'm slowly tackling little projects around here. I'm excited that I have time to accomplish some tasks without the guilt of "ignoring" Erin.

Enough about me.

Erin is loving her new routine! She couldn't be happier in school. They have "resources" each day, which is the big fancy way of saying that they do art one day, music one day, PE one day, library and computer lab. They get to go to different classrooms for these, and she loves it. She has taken such ownership of everything and it's great to see. Now if only I could get her to take ownership and clean up her room!

Jason had half a day off yesterday, so we went in to have lunch with her. I think I laughed the whole time. She took us through the lunchroom, helped us pick out our drinks and showed us where she sits. And of course she talked through the entire lunch about all the kids she knew in the lunchroom.

I took a few pictures last week at soccer. They aren't great because it's already starting to get dark when the start practice. If you go back to a few entries ago when I posted pictures from last year's soccer, it's funny to see how her shorts fit her. She's got the same pair on in both, and you can really see how much she's grown!

Okay, I promise I'll try to be better about keeping this updated!!
